Who a Facial Is Not For

People with an active cold sore, open wounds, sunburn or a skin infection on the face. Wait until it heals.
Anyone taking or recently finishing isotretinoin (Accutane). Extractions, peels and exfoliation are postponed; ask your doctor about timing.
Severe cystic acne that needs medical treatment. A facial can support dermatologist care but does not replace it.
